Description: This late middle aged woman wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available she will default to her shield and is in decent physical shape. Her head has been shaved. Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her broad brown hat.
Personality: Mardred is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Mardred was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mardred decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
