Fey Ancestry: Advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put her to sleep.

Skill Versatility: Proficiency in two skills. (Gloom stalker and hunting)

Gloom Stalker: Can turn invisible in complete darkness, a skill inherited from her mother. Her father taught her how to hunt, track animals, and survive in the wilderness.


Class

Favored Enemy, Monstrosities: Advantage on Survival checks to track favored enemy, and Intelligence checks to recall info about them. Also learn a language of your favored enemy.

Natural Explorer: 2x proficiency when using an Intelligence or Wisdom check with a skill you're proficient in while navigating your favored terrain. When traveling in favored terrain, ignore difficult terrain, cannot become lost (except by magic), remain alert to danger when doing other activities, can move stealthily alone at a normal pace, find twice as much forage, learn exact number/size/time they passed when tracking.

Fighting Style, Archery: You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Spellcasting: Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your ranger spells, since your magic draws on your attunement to nature. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

Primeval Awareness: You can use your action and expend one ranger spell slot to focus your awareness on the region around you. For 1 minute per level of the spell slot you expend, you can sense whether the following types of creatures are present within 1 mile of you (or within up to 6 miles if you are in your favored terrain): aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead. This feature doesn’t reveal the creatures’ location or number.

She is calm, succinct, and wary of new people. When she feels comfortable and safe, that’s when she reveals her true self. Her voice is quiet and dry, and she comes off as cold and stoic to those who don’t know her well.

She is not afraid to speak her mind and will fight for her beliefs. She has a nurturing instinct to protect young children and animals.

Rebellious, untrusting of strangers, quick temper, sometimes unreliable and unpredictable.

Firla grew up in a small elven village, where humans seldom set foot. Her father is a rare exception to this rule, due to marrying the village’s healer. The village is closed off from human contact to preserve its culture and history. The forest they inhabit is considered sacred land. Many elves and half-elves will travel great distances to be healed by Firla’s mother. Iriel has a dark history that Firla herself is not yet aware of, and not even her father Ryllo knows the full truth.

Firla doesn’t have any siblings but spent much of her youth playing with and babysitting the village children. In that regard, she considers herself to have many siblings that aren’t blood-related. This is where she developed her nurturing instinct. Although she had many friends and was popular due to her parent’s statuses, she was often teased. They would poke fun at Firla for being mixed race and at her short stature and small ears. As she grew older and became a skilled hunter, she gained respect and at one point was favoured by all in her village and had a promising future.
