The Underside has been filled out a bit more for ~immersion~ and its performance has been improved so you'll be less affected by its mere existence.
Also added an option to flip your vertical movement.

Early QoL - August 30 Weekly Devlogs
Some fixes and QoL things to smooth out the early game.
Patch Notes * Increased craft window size * Added wind/rain alerts to factory fuel display * Drinking from natural water is faster and uses the correct animation * Tweaked research xp values * Plants will suck up water on their tile if it doesn't drown them * Fixed factories draining too fast in the wind * Fixed map not showing shallow water
Measuring Heat - September 11 Weekly Devlogs
You can now craft a thermometer to measure the local temperature, which is useful because crops will die in extreme heat or cold.
Animals will also eat your crops, so you may want to keep them separated. Lots of other tweaks and fixes too.
