You've got Premium! Thanks for your support, here's a quick overview of some of the things now available to you.
At the most basic level, you've covered your share of the bandwidth required to serve the site to you and will no longer need to see ads. Additionally, the storage space used to store things like your campaign notes, character sheets, and anything else you've saved to your account has been covered and you've been given increased capacity. So if you had previously hit the limit on the number of monsters you can make and store, then that limit has now been increased!
At the "More Stuff" level, you've gained access to a whole bunch of new features:
- Set custom morphers on the World Map Generator
- Get access to the... advertiser unfriendly options in the Vicious Mockery Insult Generator
- Unlock the randomizer and more sheets for your Character Sheets
- Modify any officially sourced monsters on the Monster List and help keep them accurate and up-to-date
- Create attack macros in the Grid Map to help automate and speed up combat. Attacking an enemy becomes as easy as point and click.
If you've contributed above that amount, then you have my sincerest thanks. Less than 0.3% of users give anything at all, so your contribution has at least covered the tab on a couple of them! At the "Early Bird" tier you'll have early access to new content as it's made, before it's available to any of the public. You'll also get your name in the name generator, which is used to seed the NPCs in all the other generators on the site, so chances are pretty good you'll end up as an NPC in quite a few people's games!
The reality of the internet today is that many people use adblockers, while also using up bandwidth and storage space without giving anything in return. While it didn't affect me much when the site was small, it's a bit like having a water hose out front that people come and drink from. If one or two people stop for a sip I'm unlikely to notice or care, but if 2 million people all stop to drink then I'm going to get a huge water bill. Without support from premium users like you the site would have to shut down, so thank you!
